The spec sheet for the limited edition doesn't differ from the original V5 Plus though the smartphone comes with a price cut. The Vivo V5 Plus comes with a dual camera setup in the front. While one of the lenses sports 20-megapixels, the other sports 8-megapixels. front camera. The dual-SIM Marshmallow-running Vivo V5 Plus comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. The phone, which has a 5.5-inch display, runs a 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC that’s coupled with 4GB of RAM.
In terms of storage, the Vivo V5 Plus comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage and cannot be expanded. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS connectivity options. The Vivo V5 Plus draws power from a 3,055mAh battery.
Vivo announced an exclusive partnership for its online sale with India’s largest e-commerce marketplace(Flipkart). Vivo is all set to woo both selfie-lovers and cricket fans in the country with Vivo V5 Plus IPL Limited Edition. The Special edition of the previously launched V5 Plus features an IPL 2017 logo engraved on its back to celebrate 10 years of Indian Premier League. The smartphone is available on Flipkart online sale, modern retail stores and also at Vivo exclusive stores.
Vivo India's Chief Marketing Officer - Vivek Zhang commented saying "The idea behind the launch of limited edition phone was to offer our consumers with not just the phone but an experience they can cherish for a lifetime. We have given strictest attention to the design and feel of the phone and our focus is to offer an exclusive experience to the cricket crazy audience. We are hopeful that the limited edition V5Plus phones will draw huge attention from the audience”.
The new V5 Plus IPL edition is priced at Rs. 25990, which puts it in a mid-range category with flagship-like specs. It's a perfect match to someone who takes a lot of selfies and also for the cricket crazy fans looking for a powerful mid-range smartphone.
